Dear Cucamonga School District Families,
As the holiday season approaches and we prepare for a well-deserved winter break, I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to each of you. Your continued support, involvement, and commitment have had an incredible impact on our students, the school, and the entire community throughout the year. It is because of your partnership and dedication that we continue to make strides in providing the best possible experiences and opportunities for our children. Thank you for everything you do!
The holidays offer a special time to pause, reflect, and reconnect with the people and experiences that bring us joy. I encourage you to embrace this season as an opportunity to relax, recharge, and celebrate the many blessings in your life—whether through cherished family traditions, quiet moments of reflection, or the warmth of being surrounded by loved ones.
Your contributions to our schools and the lives of our students are immeasurable, and you deserve every bit of rest and rejuvenation this break can offer. As we look ahead to the new year, I am excited for all that lies ahead and grateful for the continued partnership with such a caring and engaged community.
May your holiday season be filled with peace, love, and joy, and may the new year bring renewed energy, inspiration, and countless blessings. Happy Holidays to you and your family!

Coffee with the Principal: A Look Back at November and December
We’ve had two fantastic Coffee with the Principal events over the past two months, where our school community came together to learn, discuss, and connect on important topics impacting our students’ education and development.
In November, our focus was Digital Citizenship and Internet Safety. With guidance from our amazing district staff members, Mr. Alcala and Mrs. Muñoz, we explored Common Sense Media as a valuable tool for families. Together, we navigated the challenges of online spaces, engaging in thoughtful discussions about the positive and negative impacts of technology, media, and the internet on our children. We also explored how to aim towards engaging in a healthy balance of technology and media.
In December, we turned our attention to Computer Science. We discussed the Computer Science standards and shared the incredible opportunities and experiences our students enjoy throughout their journey in CSD. Parents even had the chance to step into their children’s shoes by participating in a hands-on coding lesson using Micro:bit devices—a fun and engaging way to see computer science in action!
These events highlight the power of collaboration between home and school, ensuring we work together to support our students’ learning and well-being. Thank you to everyone who joined us, and a special thanks to Mr. Alcala and Mrs. Munoz for their expertise and dedication.
We look forward to seeing you at our next Coffee with the Principal!
